Tehilla Design Group offers full-scale Architectural services including preliminary design, full Contract Drawings and Specifications, and Construction Administration as needed. We utilize the latest in design production technology, including AutoDesk Revit for drawing production and Sketchup for 3D design and presentation.
In recent years, we are primarily focused on residential design. Our office can produce anything from a small master bedroom suite addition to a full-size residence, complete with interior design, landscape, and integrated media technology services as requested by the homeowner.
Syd DeFraites has been practicing Architecture for over 30 years, with projects ranging from residential houses and condos to hotels, restaurants, medical facilities, shopping centers, and more. No job is too big or too small to benefit from our design experience.

We strive to maintain a controlled workload that allows us to begin work on projects almost immediately. On most projects, a preliminary design can be completed within 1 – 2 weeks after initial client meetings. Depending on the size and scope of the project, Contract Documents can often be prepared within 2 – 3 months after final client approval of design.

We keep the main core of Tehilla Design Group as small as possible to avoid excessive overhead that must invariably be passed on to the client. Should the need arise, we have additional staff “on hold” ready to assist on an as-needed basis.
To keep our overhead costs reasonable, we contract with local engineering firms for any necessary structural, civil, mechanical, plumbing, telecommunications and electrical services that are required for individual projects.
